BADA Bongo 2024
Placement:
Davis Spokes won Division Two! Congratulations Spokes!
Bongo is returning to the beaches of San Francisco! Grab your discs and join us for a day of fun, Ultimate, and beach vibes!
Bongo is an annual beach tournament run by the Bay Area Disc Association on Ocean beach in San Francisco. DO NOT WEAR CLEATS.
The tourney is Saturday, March 23, and the schedule will be posted by BADA the week of.
Davis GRIT 2023
Overview
Davis GRIT (Grip It and Rip It) is the DYU end of season tournament! Hosted annually by Davis Youth Ultimate, we will return to the fields of Davis at the beginning of June (6/4/23)!
Remember to bring:
Water/Sports Drink (Stay Hydrated, it will be hot)
A Light & Dark shirt to play in
Light Snacks (It will be a long day)
Sunblock
Cleats (Or other athletic shoes)

Spaghetti Western 2023
Placement:
Davis Spokes placed 10th in Spaghetti Western this year (2nd in our bracket)! Great job Spokes and congratulations Baja Sunset on winning the Spirit Award!
Overview
Spaghetti Western is a two-day youth ultimate tournament hosted by Bay Area Disc Association in Tracy, California. It is considered one of the most competitive and biggest youth Ultimate tournaments in the state, bringing teams together from Napa, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Mountain View, Los Angeles, San Diego and even out-of-state teams from Oregon and international teams from Mexico. The 2023 HS Winners automatically qualify for HSNI! Stay tuned to GroupMe for more information and good luck Spokes!
Note: There are practice/pickup fields and designated Kan Jam/Spike Ball areas!

Placement:
Davis Spokes placed 8th in Div 1 and 6th in Div 2 (and tied for 2nd place in Div 2 Spirit Scoring)! Good job to both teams!
Overview
BADA Bongo is a beach tournament hosted by the Bay Area Disc Association (BADA). This year the tournament will be on Saturday, March 25 at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. Stay tuned to GroupMe for more information as we near the tournament.

HS Mixed Championship 2022
Placement:
DYU Mixed placed 6th and a 4-way tie for 2nd place Spirit!
Overview
The High School Mixed Championship is a 7 on 7 mixed tournament hosted by the Bay Area Disc Association in Livermore. This year the tournament will be the 11th of December! Keep tabs on GroupMe for any information posted by your coaches! As we do not have a bye during pool play, please arrive around 9 am (Check GroupMe) Good luck to our mixed team!

Remember to bring:
Water/Gatorade (Stay Hydrated)
A Light and a Dark shirt (No... grey)
Layers (The weather is unpredictable, also turf)
Light Snacks (There will probably be a food tent though)
Cleats (The fields are turf)
Sunblock (Don't get burned)

Results
This year DYU Mixed placed 3rd in our pool after beating DiscOTech B and 6th overall! On top of this we got a spirit score of 2.66 entering us in a 4-way tie for second! Congratulations to everyone on the team this year!

Fog Five Cup 2022
Overview
Fog Five is a 5 on 5 beach tournament hosted by Bay Area Disc Association in San Francisco. This year the tournament was postponed and is now set to be on October 29th at Ocean Beach. Make sure to let coaches and organizers know you are coming on GroupMe and fill out your paperwork! Good luck to our mixed and open teams!
Equipment
Remember to bring:
Water/Gatorade (Stay Hydrated!)
A Light and a Dark shirt
A Layer (San Francisco can be cold!)
Light Snacks (BADA is providing some free food & water refills)
No Cleats (As this is a beach tournament, don't wear cleats!)
Sunblock (Even through the clouds you can get sunburnt)

Results
This year, BADA's Fog Five Cup was on Saturday, October 29th from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Our mixed team (Spokes) placed 5th and our open team (DYU) placed 13th. Congratulations to both teams for playing hard!

Penguin Ultimate Invite
Placement:
Davis placed 3rd in Penguin Ultimate Invite! Congratulations Davis!
Overview
The Napa Valley New Tech Penguins are hosting the Penguin Ultimate Invite at Redwood Middle School on October 8th! Varsity players have a first round bye and are asked to arrive by 9:15 am. JV players should arrive by 8:15. Stay tuned to GroupMe for field locations and the tournament schedule!

Results
Congratulations to our Division 2 Team for not only getting second in spirit, but for landing in third place! Another round of congratulations to our Division 1 team for coming in fourth and also tying for second in spirit! Great job to both of our high school teams!
