Davis Youth Ultimate is a welcoming Ultimate community with players ranging from 5th to 12th grade. We have an amazing coaching staff consisting of dedicated, skilled coaches and our own alums. We attend many tournaments each year throughout our multiple seasons, creating many opportunities for everyone to get playing time and experience. DYU is also a great place to meet new people and improve your Ultimate skill level! We'll see you on the fields!

While the nature of the disc gives players the ability to shape throws in ways that just can be done done with a ball, what truly sets ultimate apart is the spirit of the game. We do not look to referees to tell us what is fair play. Instead, players actively call their own fouls and coordinate with their opponents to ensure that the games are fair. Ultimate also has a strong tradition of coming together with opponents after each game celebrate each other and build community.  

All of this makes youth ultimate a great place for young athletes to learn how to advocate for themselves, how to take ownership of their environment, how to respectfully disagree with an adversary, and how to balance intense competition with community building. The skills and relationships built here will be invaluable as they transition into adulthood.
